Nihal has over 17 years’ experience in the insurance and health industry. He has previously held leadership roles across underwriting, claims and risk management in the insurance sector.

Nihal brings considerable experience in medical negligence, having worked closely with health care practitioners and health entities for over 10 years. He was a part of the Advisory Committee of the “Open Disclosure Standard” for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare. Nihal also has a strong understanding of workers compensation having previous worked for a large international insurer.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MGSM), a Master of Insurance and Risk Management and a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Medical Microbiology).
