Michelle has spent over 20 successful years in the health sector, leading teams and implementing best practice health and education services in injury management and health service delivery.

Starting her career with an NHS acute hospital in Scotland, Michelle returned to New Zealand to work as a senior manager with the Accident Compensation Corporation, designing and implementing secondary- and tertiary-level health service frameworks. She then worked in a senior role for a workers’ compensation regulator in Australia before joining mlcoa.
Michelle holds a Master of Business (Personal Injury), a Diploma in Health Service Management and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting).
